As the world’s largest developing country, China is facing water shortage and water pollution problems due to accelerated urbanization and industrialization. So China takes many strong measures to strengthen research funding in the field of water resources protection and sustainable use. And in recent years China has promulgated relevant laws and policies and built thousands of wastewater treatment plants and in coming years more wastewater treatment plants are planned. It is a big challenge also a big market in China. We need more cost effective new technologies and equipment both domestic and abroad.
The conference will jointly with the 2016 Qingdao International Conference. Qingdao International Conference on Desalination and Water Reuse is an annual conference within Asia-Pacific region which has held for 10 years. You will join over 1 000 leading professionals and companies from across the water sector, including thought leaders from within and outside the water sector. The conference focus is on bridging the space between industry, business, technology, innovation, practice and science to share knowledge, build collaborations and develop networks that will shape the water agenda for decades to come.
