Located in the south of the country, it is now well known as a major manufacturing centre with one of the largest and most sophisticated consumer markets in mainland China.

The region is formed by 9 cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Dongguan, four districts and counties of Huizhou and Zhaoqing.

About the Speaker

Mr. Nathan Jansen, General Manager of 1421 Consulting Group’s office in Shenzhen and member of the Board of Directors at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China (Chapter PRD), has obtained his Master’s Management and Entrepreneurship from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Nathan has been living in China for over 3 years. He has experience advising inbound clients from a variety of industries. In Shenzhen he is responsible for the branch office, which is assisting companies with their business in the Pearl River Delta.
