Information About the Speakers Rob M.van Hemert – Fokker Elmo Electronical Systems Co. Ltd. Rob M.van Hemert is working as the General Manager of Fokker Elmo for almost one year and a half. His carrier started as an Industrial Engineer at Philips Lighting and stepped into the production/operation six years later. During the following years he was always motivating people to improve in several different areas: production, logistics, sales, innovation, etc. His experience in wire harnesses comes from the time when he was working as the Managing Director for North Europe at Draka. He also worked for companies like Hunter Douglas, Sycreon, DSV, Danisco Foods, Samsung, Bosal, etc. in all different postions. Frank Stadus – DB Schenker China Frank Stadus is the Regional General Manager for DB Schenker China in Beijing. His career started 28 years ago with another of the three largest international forwarders worldwide, Kuehne+Nagel Frank Stadus has beenwith DB Schenker since 2001. His work had allowed him to gain experience in various positions in the three largest regions of the world, which heeven called his home living there, North America, Europe and now Asia, where he touched down for the first time in China in 1992. Since DB Schenker’s business is people business, it is all about motivation, network as well as communication throughout all levels and individual business units. Collaboration and finding the right base for understanding is the sound foundation for the industries and partners successes. At K+N,Frank Stadus was one of the pioneers for the specialization in aviation from the forwarding side. This plus the specialization in the high tech industries brought him to Asia working for DB Schenker, where he has been engaged with all its individual countries and all industry segments. |
