On 12 June 2025, a delegation of EU SME Centre and European Chamber Southwest China Chapter representatives visited Suining City, Sichuan. During the event, the relevant leaders in charge of the Suining Economic Development Zone introduced the transportation geography, industrial advantages, business environment, and characteristic industrial projects of the park.
“We hope that through this visit we can let our member enterprises better understand Suining, better enter Suining and invest in Suining,” said Sally Huang, General Manager of European Chamber Southwest China Chapter. Ester Cañada Amela, Advocacy Manager at the EU SME Centre, provided an overview of the key challenges faced by European SMEs in China and expressed her hope to gain a deeper understanding of the preferential policies from the Suining local government regarding loan support, reduced establishment costs, and tax & corporate equity protection for foreign investors.
