Call for Speakers | Exporting Software Products from the EU to China

The EU SME Centre is planning to organise a webinar on how to export software products from the EU to China (without a legal presence in China). The webinar is planned to take place in April/May 2022 (specific date to be decided).

The Centre is now looking for one speaker with professional experience in this field. The specific content of the webinar will be discussed and agreed upon directly with the speake, but in general should cover aspects such as the following:

· Regulations for selling software, e.g. DSL, PIPL, cross-border data transfer

· Sales and distribution channels: direct sales, through resellers, invoicing from EU, etc

· Opportunities and challenges for EU SMEs;

· Tips and recommendations (incl. on legal aspects such as drafting contracts and clauses)

Interested speakers shall submit a brief outline of the proposed content when responding to this call.
