About Unioncamere Piemonte

Unioncamere Piemonte is the association of the Chambers of Commerce of the region, the institutional voices of a system of over 400,000 companies. It represents the gateway to the regional business ecosystem, as well as to the national and European network of Chambers of Commerce and their affiliated organisations.

Mission
To promote and implement initiatives that support the development and enhancement of the regional economy and its productive sectors, while providing coordination and support to the activities of the member Chambers.

These objectives are pursued through two complementary approaches:

Institutional activities:
By delivering shared services that support the regional chamber system and the business community, also in cooperation with other bodies and institutions, and by coordinating access to national and EU programmes, plans and funds.

Promotional activities:
By representing the chamber system and the regional economic fabric in Italy and abroad: participating in programme agreements, signing cooperation arrangements, promoting the creation and participation in bodies, organisations and companies aligned with the institutional purposes of the Chambers of Commerce, and safeguarding their general interests. By carrying out studies, economic research and training activities for companies, to guide and support the growth of the region’s economic actors.

Unioncamere Piemonte has been a member of the Enterprise Europe Network since 2008 and is involved in several Sector Groups (Textiles, Agri-food, Tourism, Proximity & Social Economy) and in several Thematic Groups (Sustainability, Internationalisation, Research & Innovation). Unioncamere Piemonte supports and promotes innovation, competitiveness and internationalisation of regional SMEs. It is well connected with the regional ecosystem, universities, research centres, incubators, innovation clusters, regional funding and managing authorities, Regional agencies for the promotion of local companies abroad and for international trade related matters. We also collaborate with other international networks to create synergies to the benefit of local SMEs (Eurochambres, AlpMed, AssoCamereEstero, ETP European Technology Platform for the future of textile and clothing, EURATEX, INSME, European Recycling Platform, EUROSIMA cluster, POINTEx cluster).
