Launch of Guangzhou International Reception Hall

30 September 2025

On 29 September 2025, Joanna Ye, Vice Chair of the European Chamber South China Chapter, attended the unveiling ceremony of the Guangzhou International Reception Hall hosted by CCPIT Guangzhou.

Located within the Window of Guangzhou project at the southern end of the city’s new central axis, the Hall is positioned to serve as a key platform for international dialogue, business cooperation, and investment promotion.

Through this engagement, the European Chamber helped European SMEs better understand Guangzhou’s evolving business environment, investment opportunities, and policy priorities, while strengthening connections with local authorities and industrial resources that can facilitate SME market access and cooperation.

At the event, Ms. Ye congratulated Mr. Chen Simin, Party Secretary and Chairman of CCPIT Guangzhou, and Ms. Zhang Yan, Deputy Director, and exchanged views on enhancing business ties and facilitating communication between Guangzhou and the European business community, particularly SMEs seeking to expand their footprint in South China.
