This workshop organised by the EU SME Centre, EUROCHAMBRES and the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC), has the objective of giving SMEs practical advise on what to keep in mind when managing your business from afar.

10:35 – 11:00: How to create and maintain a sustainable remote culture: communication plan, controlling and productivity and corporate tools at the disposal of the company

11:00 – 11:30: The relevance of aligning values and practices with your China-based partner (staff, agent, distributor, JV partner): Training planning, checklist, engage learners.

Rosanna Terminio

Managing Partner, AsecorpChina Business Consulting Co. Ltd 

Graduated in Economics and Master in Asian Studies, Rosanna Terminio is a consultant, contributor and lecturer specializing in innovation and strategy for the organization, as well as human resources strategist. Together with two Chinese partners, she is Managing Partner of AsecorpChina Business Consulting since 2011, a consulting firm providing strategy consulting and operative solution for European companies operating with and in China, she is also a part-time PhD Candidate at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in Automation and Work. She has published a research paper in 2018 presented at Robo-Philosophy at University of Vienna titled “The impact of RAAI (Robotics Automation and Artificial Intelligence) in the working environment from the employee perspective, a scoping review. The paper has been included in the conference proceedings and selected for the 3rd Conference on Economy and Enterprises by The Economists of Catalunya, Spain and included in the project“Digitalization and Work”financed by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.  She has contributed to the book “The work we need: people and industry 4.0”published in Italy by Guerini e Associati.

Kristina Koehler

Kristina is a Hong Kong-born European with almost 20 years' of professional experience in Asia. She join her father's company in 2003 and relocated to Shanghai to open her the first China subsidiary of the firm. Since then, she had worked with over 500 international companies, across industries and sectors on their market strategy, implementation, and growth in both China and Hong Kong. Kristina contributes to several publications and podcasts related to the Chinese market and she is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences organised by numerous chambers of commerce and other business support organisations.
