EU Ambassador Jorge Toledo Meets with the EU SME Centre

On 12 July 2023, EU Ambassador Jorge Toledo invited Adam Dunnett, current Chair of the Board of the EU SME Centre, and Liam Jia, EU SME Centre Team Lead, to present the work of the EU SME Centre.

During the meeting, which took place at the EU Delegation in Beijing, Adam Dunnett gave an overview of the Centre’s history, services, and collaboration with EU Member States, chambers of commerce, business support organisations, and trade promotion organisations.

Liam Jia responded to specific questions, such as background checks on potential partners, and how European companies can best access the Centre’s services.

Marjut Hannonen, Head of the Trade Section, and Frank Schmiedel, First Counsellor Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), also joined the meeting.
