On 26 January 2026, Daisy Yang, Chair of the European Chamber South China SME Forum, met with Yuki Liu, Station Chief of the Work Station of Rights and Interests Protection for Shenzhen Enterprises with Foreign Investment. The meeting was held to establish a stronger collaborative framework for safeguarding the legal interests of European businesses in Shenzhen.
During the discussion, Ms. Liu outlined the Work Station’s 2026 priorities, which focus heavily on the protection of foreign investment rights. The dialogue covered critical topics including international arbitration, foreign-related dispute resolution, intellectual property (IP) protection, and compliance management. To address these areas, the Work Station plans to launch a series of activities such as thematic lectures, case study seminars, and policy interpretation sessions specifically designed for foreign-invested enterprises.
Looking ahead to 2026, both parties expressed a strong commitment to enhancing communication and exploring deeper cooperation. By co-hosting events and organising corporate visits, the Chamber and the Work Station aim to provide tangible support to EU companies in Shenzhen. This partnership is dedicated to resolving practical operational challenges and fostering a more transparent and secure business environment for European SMEs in the region.
