Organic food is gaining ground in China as increasingly health-conscious consumers pay greater attention to food quality, safety and sustainability. But how much are Chinese consumers actually spending on organic food, and what products do they purchase? How can European producers get their organic range certified in China?

In this video, Rita Merkle, Head of Science Dialogue at the Sino-German Agricultural Centre, explains the key market trends, the market access rules and China’s organic certification procedures, with practical insights to help European businesses navigate the regulatory landscape and assess opportunities for their products.
