Getting the fundamentals right from the start is key when opening a business in China. This includes choosing the right capital structure, establishing a legal entity that matches your business scope, and creating the financial architecture needed to support growth and mitigate risks.

In this video, Yvon Russon, Founder and CEO of SONG Ltd, details the realities of day-to-day operations, from launch to exit. This workshop, organised in May 2026 by the EU SME Centre and European Chamber, covers topics including liquidity management, compliance requirements, and the operational complexities that businesses can face on the ground. It also examines how businesses can prepare for exit scenarios, asset transfers, full-scope audits, and de-registration.
