European researchers working in China are cordially invited to the 6th Forum of European Researchers in China held in Beijing on 29 & 30 May 2026.
As in years past, the Forum will provide opportunities to meet and network with fellow researchers working across China in a wide variety of institutions and organizations. The Delegation of the European Union in China will welcome the European research diaspora to the Delegation for a dialogue with the Ambassador and science diplomats.
On the second day, participants will be invited to gather in thematic groups.

Invited participants: European researchers based in Chinese universities, research institutions, and enterprises engaged in research. We welcome all people engaged in active research (PhD students, Post-Docs, Professors and those working in research roles in industry) holding a passport from a country belonging to the European Economic Area.
Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once capacity is reached, registrants will be put on the waiting list.
Logistic arrangements for researchers based outside of Beijing: As in previous years, organizers can reimburse travel expenses for participants from other Chinese cities and provide an allowance which can be used for accommodation, local transport, food and other expenses. Details will be provided to registered and confirmed participants.
