Agrifood products represent a significant share of the European Union’s exports, and European agricultural goods are widely recognised across global markets for their quality. From fresh produce, meat and daity, to wines and spirits, the EU’s agrifood sector is retains a competitive edge for combining high standards and a long heritage.
China remains an important market for European small and medium-sized enterprises seeking international growth and diversification. Understanding its regulatory framework, consumer preferences, and distribution channels is key to a successful market entry.
To provide guidance to European agrifood SMEs getting ready to explore the Chinese market, the EU SME Centre, together with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), Business France, and Trade Promotion Europe, are organising a webinar on 10 March 2026. This information session is free of charge and open to all SMEs from EU Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme.
