EU SME Centre Holds Introductory Seminar on the Chinese Market for Czech Business Delegation to Beijing

29 July 2026

On Thursday 23 July 2026, the EU SME Centre organised an introductory seminar on exporting to China for a Czech business delegation in Beijing. The event was held at the offices of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

The closed-door event brought together 17 representatives of Czech SMEs and business support organisations (BSOs) from several industries, including F&B, energy, real estate, and aerospace.

During the session, EU SME Centre Business Advisor David Lavorel briefly introduced the Centre’s services for European companies and provided delegates with practical guidance on market entry strategies. His presentation covered regulatory aspects, pre-entry market research, distribution, marketing, and risk mitigation, as well as tailored advice for Czech SMEs.

Following the presentation, EU SME Centre Team Leader Liam Jia delivered a brief speech reiterating the Centre’s longstanding commitment to supporting European small and medium-sized businesses with hands-on support in their internationalisation to the Chinese market.
