Call for Feedback on the First Draft Inter-Chamber SME Working Group Position Paper

23 May 2023

This call for feedback has now closed.

As you may know, the Position Paper is the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China’s key lobbying document and is widely recognised by the Chinese and European governments, EU institutions, business associations and the media as the authoritative voice of EU business in China. It is used extensively for policy considerations, bilateral discussions, cooperation projects and background information.

Since 2014, with the creation of the EU SME Centre Advocacy Platform and the Inter-Chamber SME Working Group, a Position Paper outlining the key concerns and recommendations of European SMEs has been developed and published together with the Chamber’s overall Position Paper. The value and importance of a well-written, well-represented and accurate Inter-Chamber SME Working Group Position Paper cannot be overstated, since this document contributes considerably to making their voices heard.

We would thus like to request SMEs to provide feedback on the first draft of the 2023-24 Inter-Chamber SME WG Position Paper, which you can download below and in the top right corner of the page. Please send feedback using the comment function to Ms Ester Cañada Amela at ecamela@europeanchamber.com.cn before 29 May COB.

Please note that this call for feedback is open only to European SMEs already operating in China. As the Position Paper is still in the drafting stage, please keep this document confidential and do not distribute it outside your respective company/organisation.
