Updated guidelines on the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) scheme

By Dr Betty Xu, Director of the Seconded European Standardisation Expert in China (SESEC) project | Article 16.12.2020 Tags:

What is CCC? Market access for products and services to China is generally not free nor automatic: many product and service categories require government approval before they can be imported in the Chinese market. These approvals come in various forms, such as licences, certifications, registrations, marks, and in some cases even individual approval of shipments. But they all have one thing in common: they will be regularly checked at the borders, or by inspection authorities in China in case of products produced domestically.
