The EU SME Centre Signs an MoU with the Cork Chamber of Commerce

18 May 2023

On 19 April 2023, the representatives of the EU SME Centre and the Cork Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), thus formally committing to working together and creating synergies. This new partnership agreement signed with an Ireland -based business support organisation will enhance the outreach capacity and value-added activities provided to European SMEs looking to do business in China.

The EU SME Centre is devoted to sharing its knowledge on China-related matters to build the capacity of Irish companies interested in entering the Chinese market. Joint activities to be designed and implemented under this cooperation may include training sessions, expert speakers at conferences, shared research, one-to-one consultation services, as well as support in online or offline business missions and matchmaking events.

The Centre is looking forward to cooperating with the Cork Chamber of Commerce and we welcome the opportunity to further support Irish SMEs’ interests and contribute to the common goal of supporting their growth.

Business support organisations and trade promotion organisations from Member States of the European Union and Single Market Programme-participating countries with member companies interested in the Chinese market are welcome to contact our Partnership Coordinator to obtain further information about partnerships and collaborations. The EU SME Centre offers a wide range of free services to partners and affiliated SMEs to improve their readiness to the market in China. Find out more about becoming a partner of the Centre here.
