MOF: Notice on Supporting Exemplary SME Start-up and Innovation Base Cities

On 16th April, 2015, Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) in China released a joint notice on a decision to support exemplary SME start-ups and innovation base cities.

Three fundamental principles will be followed by local governments:

1. Local governments responsible for implementation measures under the guidance of the Central Government;

2. Creating a healthy business environment and ensure fair market competition;

3. Exploring new business opportunities and learning from exemplary cities.
