China, which was once known as the “world’s factory”, has risen to become an economic superpower. In recent decades, the country has managed to shift its economy from manufacturing to a high-tech and innovative environment leading the world in the fields of AI, blockchain, robotics, or automation to name a few.
China is for many reasons considered as a premium market in terms of investment, especially when it comes to start-ups as it has a first-class ecosystem for this type of businesses. This start-up scene has been built through decades of efforts by the Chinese government, state-owned enterprises, large corporations, universities, research institutes and incubators who are organically linked to gradually build up an innovative ecosystem.
The EU SME Centre, EUROCHAMBRES, the Slovenian-Chinese Business Forum, and the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of Andalucia Region (Spain) are happy to invite you to this online workshop on 21 September from 10-12:30 (CEST) | 16:00-18:30(CST) where our experts, Jelte Wingender and Alvaro Montoya, will present the start-up ecosystem in China and prepare European SMEs to grasp upcoming opportunities.
