About the Speaker
Neil Woodfine, Chief Operation Officer, Remitsy www.remitsy.com
Neil has been living and working in China since 2004, and been an active member of China’s bitcoin community since 2013, running Beijing’s first and only Bitcoin Meetup event. Neil currently guides Remitsy’s product development.
Previously he worked in OKCoin and managed institutional accounts trading on the company’s USD-bitcoin spot and futures exchange. This put him at the forefront of the nascent institutional trading environment where he gained first-hand experience of the inner-workings of digital currency exchanges. As a result, not only does he have insight into digital currency trading strategies, but he also understands the export, logistics and payment issues involved in trade with China.
Neil holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Leeds in Chinese.
