Dear all,

This Friday, February 22, the Dutch and American Embassies in Beijing would like to invite you to the Dutch Embassy for an informal gathering on the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2019, which will take place in the Hague June 4-5. Please feel welcome to extend the invitation to your respective Commerce Chambers and to companies you think might be interested in coming to the Netherlands to participate in the GES.

Applications for the GES are currently open (closing date, February 28).

The 2019 GES will gather some of the world’s most inspiring entrepreneurs innovating in agriculture, connectivity, energy, health, and water. GES 2019 offers an unparalleled stage for scale-ups and a chance to showcase their enterprises before a selected group of top investors, founders, funders, experts, and policy makers. Approximately 2,000 participants will be invited to the summit, including 1,200 entrepreneurs, 400 investors, and 400 thought leaders and officials. The afternoon will start at 15.00 with an informative presentation of Jaap van Etten, founder of the company/platform Datenna, which uses data mining and machine learning to identify leads and trends regarding innovation in China. Jaap will talk about the latest science and technology (policy) developments in China.
