The EU SME Centre invites you to the European Water Technology Week (EWTW), that will take place from September 24, 2018 to September 27, 2018 in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
This week will bring together scientist, business representatives and government officials from across the world to inspire each other and do business in the innovative climate of WaterCampus Leeuwarden. As the global water technology sector is increasingly organized in hubs, the theme of this year’s event is “Connecting the hubs”. The European Water Tech Week 2018 (EWTW 2018) will connect these hubs in Leeuwarden, the United Nations Innovating City for water technology.
The program features sessions on business, science, policy and international cooperation and we can already confirm speakers from the United States, Israel, Singapore, Canada and China. Next to plenary and theme sessions there will be plenty of opportunity to network at the trade fair.
In addition to the EWTW there are two official side events
WaterMatch – B2B matchmaking
This matchmaking event is organized by Water Alliance and the Enterprise Europe Network and allows participants to have pre-arranged meetings with participants of their interest. Meetings will take 20 minutes which allows participants to have enough time to discover common ground and discuss any further steps. The Matchmaking system used in WaterMatch is widely used across Enterprise Europe Network partners and has proven to be very successful. The matchmaking is primarily focussed on businesses but is also open to research institutes.
The matchmaking will be taking place on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 September, devided over three sessions, 2 on Tuesday and 1 on Wednesday.
