Shortly after graduating from Nyenrode Business University and a stunted corporate career at ING in Holland and China, Paul quit in order to start following his passion again. In 2011 he started his own event company in China coming from a strong belief in the emerging opportunities amongst Chinese youngsters and within the Chinese event and nightlife scene . As CEO/Partner he was at the start of Modern Art Entertainment (MAE) in 2013 and together with his partners he lead the company to the full-grown business it is today. Already in the first full year Paul brought the brand to 15 cities all over China, started MAE’s own artist agency, ensured an electronic music stage on all Strawberry Festivals (China’s largest music festival) and co-developed award-winning concepts like RELEASE, and the newer DIMENSION and FABULOUS.
