In a fast changing global market, one of the biggest challenge for many companies is to expand their business in markets that are very different and a deep knowledge of marketing and communications strategies is an important starting point. This is especially true in China, where a very unique digital environment in terms of platforms, trends, and customer habits often anticipates the global trends. On 18 December 2020, the EU SME Centre and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), the leading partner of phase III, are organising an online workshop on ‘Entering the Chinese Market through the power of Social Networks in China. Cross-Border E-commerce and its opportunities’.

The workshop focuses on the digital world in China, on the trends of Chinese consumers and the most popular digital platforms. From e-commerce, an overview of cross border e-commerce will be provided. Several case studies will also be presented.
