Digitalisation has emerged as a critical enabler of the green transition when companies face increasing pressure to improve resource efficiency while meeting ambitious climate targets. Advanced digital tools, such as IoT-enabled systems, digital twins and energy management platforms, are transforming how energy is monitored, managed, and optimised. These technologies not only enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, but also provide the transparency and analytical capacity needed to support decarbonisation strategies and ESG goals.
On 14 May, the EU SME Centre and the European Chamber are organising a meeting will explore how digitalisation concretely supports the operational efficiency, costs saving and decarbonisation process, from planning to operational management. The session will showcase practical digital solutions applied to buildings, districts, and infrastructure, including energy monitoring, simulation, consumption optimisation, decision-support tools, and environmental reporting.
