European SMEs have been going through quite some difficulties and faced a lot of challenges over the last years. Building on the successful visits to foster business cooperation carried out in Greece and Portugal last year, Vice President of the European Commission Antonio Tajani is now keen to contribute assisting SMEs in Extremadura to successfully overcome current difficulties.
Vice President Tajani of the European Commission has therefore joined forces with Mr José Antonio Monago, President of the Government of the Region of Extremadura to make companies aware of existing business and investment opportunities in the area. To support this key priority, the regional government of Extremadura is organizing a conference in Mérida with the objective of making companies aware about local opportunities. At the same time a business-to-business forum will be set up to allow local enterprises to meet potential partners from Europe and beyond.
