The EU SME Centre is supporting Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei international investment and Trade Fair from 6 to 7 September in Langfang, organised by CCPIT Hebei/CCOIC Hebei, CCPIT Beijing/CCOIC Beijing, CCPIT Tianjing/ CCOIC Tianjin and by LangFang Municipal People’s Government.

Your will have an opportunity to get connected with businesses and government agencies in Hebei, China, where the Chinese national government is setting up Xiong’an New Area, a strategic plan to drive the country’s next round of development. You will also have the chance to attend several matchmaking events, seminars and conferences on the themes such as ‘Belt & Road’, “Intelligent Manufacturing’, ‘International Commerical Law’, ‘Environment and Energy Saving’ and more.

About China’s Xiong’an New Area

Xiong’an New Area is a state-level new area in the Baoding area of Hebei, China. Established in April 2017, the area is located about 100 km southwest of Beijing.

Its main function is to serve as a development hub for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (Jingjinji) economic triangle. Additionally, “non-core” functions of the Chinese capital are expected to migrate here, including offices of some state-owned enterprises, government agencies, and research and development facilities.
