On Wednesday 24 June 2026, representatives from the EU SME Centre participated in the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, a leading annual event bringing together businesses from logistics, transportation, and other sectors across global supply chains.
As part of the Expo, the EU SME Centre attended the morning briefing meeting for the 19th Europe-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair (Europe-China Fair), the largest state-level platform for high-level economic and trade exchange between China and European countries. The 19th edition of the Europe-China Fair is scheduled to take place in Chengdu in October 2026.
The meeting reaffirmed its objective of fostering mutually beneficial dialogue and strengthening connections between European and Chinese companies. During the event, EU SME Centre Team Leader Liam Jia delivered a speech highlighting the Centre’s continued commitment to supporting European SMEs in navigating business opportunities in the Chinese market. He also expressed his confidence in future collaboration with the Europe–China Fair.
Following the meeting, the EU SME Centre team engaged in discussions with representatives from European embassies, trade promotion agencies, and business leaders participating in the 4th CISCE.
