The Position Paper is the European Chamber’s key advocacy publication of the year. The key concerns and recommendations within a Working Group Position Paper will inform the messaging the Working Group will deliver to government and other key stakeholders in future engagements, both at the high and working levels. Therefore, ensuring that the Position Paper accurately reflects the priority issues of European industry and their proposed solutions is of paramount importance.
The first step is to agree on the basic structure of the Key Recommendations – that is, the title and additions or changes in content. This is why we are inviting European SMEs active in China to provide feedback on the mini-Position Paper before Thursday 26 March COB, using track changes. If you want to become a lead drafter for a section of the Position Paper, please also indicate your interest before the deadline. You can download last year’s Inter-Chamber SME Position Paper here. The content highlighted in yellow stays unchanged from last year.
As the Position Paper is still in the drafting stage, please keep this document confidential and do not distribute it.
For more information on the SME Working Group or if you are encountering issues downloading the document, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Xinyue Cui by email.
