Advocacy News: Meeting with the Guangdong Province Industrial Park Association

8 January 2026

On 6 January 2026, Lynn Wu, Business & Government Affairs Manager, and Mo Jingqian, Events Manager of the European Chamber South China Chapter, met with Tang Minjie, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Province Industrial Park Association (GIPA), at the Chamber’s Guangzhou office.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between regional industrial parks and European investors amid the ongoing relocation of labour-intensive industries from the Pearl River Delta to western and northern Guangdong. Secretary-General Tang outlined GIPA’s intention to leverage the Chamber’s network to attract more EU enterprises and support their integration into global value chains. Lynn underlined that, where member companies—particularly European SMEs—have concrete investment or relocation needs, the Chamber stands ready to support informed site selection and smooth settlement within the Greater Bay Area.
