On 12 March 2026, the European Chamber co-organised the “2026 International Enterprise Industry & Trade Exchange – Advanced Manufacturing Session” with the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau and the Shenzhen Enterprise Service Group in Bao’an District.
Led by Fabian Blake, Vice President of the European Chamber and Chair of the South China Board, a delegation of Chamber members attended the roundtable, including representatives from Convestro, Philips, and European SMEs. During the meeting, the delegation presented their business development plans, policy suggestions and operational challenges, with both large enterprises and SMEs sharing practical insights.
Representatives from the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau, the Bao’an District Investment Promotion Agency, the Bao’an District Development and Reform Bureau and the Bao’an District Industry and Information Technology Bureau, provided briefings on relevant policy matters and responded to concerns raised by the enterprises.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited Insta360, SOFAR Solar and Han’s Laser Global Smart Manufacturing Center, gaining an in-depth look at Shenzhen’s intelligent manufacturing ecosystem and collaborative opportunities for SMEs in the advanced manufacturing sector.
