On 13 March 2026, the European Chamber co-organised the “2026 International Enterprise Industry & Trade Exchange – Modern Service Session” with the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau and the Shenzhen Enterprise Service Group in Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone (Qianhai).
Led by Joanna Ye, Vice Chair of the South China Board, a delegation of Chamber members attended the roundtable, including members in logistics sectors and European modern service SMEs. The meeting focus on international logistics and supply chain capabilities including global networks, multimodal transport, digital systems and pharmaceutical logistics qualifications, etc. Representatives from the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau, the Qianhai Investment Promotion and Enterprise Service Center, the Shenzhen Transport Bureau joined the discussion, provided detailed briefings on Shenzhen’s international logistics policies covering enterprises of all sizes including SMEs and responded to the concerns and operational needs raised by attended enterprises.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited CIMC (China International Marine Containers Group) and ZEROG AIRCRAFT, to further explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in modern services, especially collaborative prospects for SMEs, and to promote deeper collaboration in cross-border data flow, supply chain management and related sectors.
