On 29 January, the European Chamber’s South China Chapter organised a government meeting between the EU SME Centre and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenzhen Municipal Committee (Shenzhen CCPIT). The session focused on ways to enhance support for European SMEs exploring opportunities in Shenzhen.
During the meeting, EU SME Centre Team Leader Liam Jia discussed opportunities for SME business delegation visits to Shenzhen, expressing interest in collaborating with Shenzhen CCPIT on tailored activities for European SMEs.
Shenzhen CCPIT Deputy Director General, Mrs Tang Jin, warmly welcomed the initiative, detailing Shenzhen’s robust ecosystem for cooperation. She highlighted the city’s extensive network of potential supply-chain partners, its mature talent pool in cross-border e-commerce and its highly efficient logistics infrastructure as solid foundations for in-depth collaboration.
The European Chamber South China Chapter will actively support the program by facilitating the sharing of practical insights and localised experience from EU SMEs already operating in the region.
