On 21 June, the EU SME Centre signed an MOU with the Organizing Committee of the 23rd China International Industry Fair (CIIF) for the establishment of the European SME Pavilion at this year’s edition, which will take place in Shanghai from 14 to 18 September.
Renzo Isler, Director of the EU SME Centre participated in the signing ceremony in Shanghai, together with Mr Rong Zhiqin (Deputy Director of the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission and of the CIIF Organizing Committee), Mr Liu Guangyong (Deputy Director of the Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office), Zhou Jin (Vice President of Dong Hao Lansheng Group, the executive organiser).
The signing ceremony received great support and visibility from local stakeholders, with the news already published in a number of local media.

The 2021 edition of CIIF will be held from 14-18 September 2021 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), with nine major professional exhibition areas with an exhibition area of 280,000 square meters. More than 2,000 exhibitors are expected, making CIIF the world’s largest industrial exhibition this year.
