This is the first of two articles that the EU SME Centre is producing on the recently announced Beijing Free Trade Zone – which was the key topic of an offline workshop organised by the EU SME Centre on 1 December 2020. The next article will be published in the upcoming week and will analyse the specific opportunities offered to European SMEs by the Beijing FTZ, as well as the strengths of the Beijing FTZ compared to other FTZs across China.
