In 1979, Aerodium founded the world’s first technology company to provide an entertainment vertical wind tunnel and is still working hard to provide customers with the perfect flying experience. Nowadays, Aerodium is the world leader in the production of custom-made vertical wind tunnels and in the provision of flight shows. By the end of 2019, Aerodium has provided over 80 wind tunnel projects in 45 countries. Aerodium wind machines were used for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Torino in 2006 and in Sochi in 2014, for the show Pirates of Caribbean at Shanghai Disney Resort, as well as for the biggest wind tunnel in the world built for the shooting of “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” movie. Aerodium headquarters are located in Riga, Latvia with representative offices in Argentina, China, South Korea, and the USA.
Aerodium [Shanghai] Entertainment Development Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Aerodium Technologies LLC in greater China. It is mainly responsible for the sales, leasing services, marketing and regional distribution service of all Aerodium Entertainment wind tunnels in greater China.
