On 11 November, the EU SME Centre, EUROCHAMBRES and Enterprise Estonia organised an online workshop with the objective of giving European SMEs an overview and practical advice on the Organic and Natural cosmetics in China.
The conferences gathered around 30 participants from the EU and COSME associated countries who got insights on what to keep in mind when planning to market and sell organic and natural cosmetics in China. The webinar was presented by two speakers, Andrew Atkinson from China Skinny and Demi Ding from REACH24H. The session was started by Andrew who focused on the marketing side providing insights on the current ecommerce data and consumer sentiment and the consumer recognition of European organic certifications. Andrew shared as well some case studies to support his explanation. The second speaker, Demi, explained the audience the steps required to successfully export cosmetics to China including the application procedure and the regulatory barriers for ‘organic’ and ‘natural’ cosmetics in China while sharing best practices. The workshop ended with an engaging Q&A session.
