Introducing Beijing Fengtai District

Location

Located in the southwest of Beijing, Fengtai district is in a strategic position of development since the Central government launched its Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cluster plan. The district covers about 306 square kilometres and has 2.32 million residents by the end of 2015.

It is adjacent to Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station and Fengtai Railway Station. With fast-speed railways, it takes about 30 minutes from Beijing to Tianjin and four hours to Shanghai.

Talent

The district has more than 60 scientific research institutions and has attracted tens of thousands of talents particularly in aerospace and aviation sector.

Industry Zones

1. Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park (中关村丰台园)

Zhongguancun Fengtai Park was approved in November 1991with a total planning area of 8.18 square kilometres.

It consists of 11 blocks, including the East Section, West Section I and West Section II.

Currently, Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park has more than 5,000 enterprises, including 518 national high-tech enterprises and 51 publicly listed companies directly under SASAC. Fengtai Park reached total annual revenue of 400 billion RMB in 2015.

2. Lize Financial Business District of Beijing (北京丽泽金融商务区)

Located between the West 2nd and 3rd Ring Roads, Lize Financial Business District of Beijing covers an area of 8.09 square kilometres, with a total planned floor area of 8 million to 9.5 million square meters.

Lize Financial Business District of Beijing aims to attract more financial institutions and develop into a financial headquarter in Beijing.

Incubation Space

There are 19 incubator buildings in Fengtai with 250,000 square metres space, which aims to attract start-ups, SMEs and foreign companies.
