About the Speaker

Marco Gasparroni

Marco Gasparroni is regional head for Greater China for Exprivia Group and CEO of Exprivia IT Solutions (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.

He is Board Member of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CCIC). He is among the funding members and current vice-chair of the CICC Healthcare Working Group, which brings together the leading Italian companies operating in the healthcare sector in China.

He has previously served as Executive Director of the EU-China Project Innovation Centre, the innovation platform based in Chengdu promoting trade, investment and technical cooperation between Europe and China.

Marco has also worked at Siemens, advising on strategy and corporate planning launching the company’s “Energy & Environmental Solutions” in Belgium.

Marco has been driving multinational companies in establishing and developing their activities in China for more than 10 years. He has served as CEO and CFO for leading corporations in the telecommunication and media sectors.

Marco was also co-founder and General Manager of the South-China Chapter of the European Chamber of Commerce in China. He received a Masters’ Degree in Economics and a MBA from ISTAO, one of the oldest business schools in Italy. He is visiting lecturer for post-graduate and MBA students at ISTAO Business School (Italy) and Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow (UK).
