On 9 June, the EU SME Centre, in partnership with the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) and Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), is organising a webinar on the recent developments in China’s business environment. During this session, Sara Berloto, Head of Research at the Italy-China Council Foundation (ICCF), will provide guidance to European SMEs considering an expansion to the Chinese market on the latest trends and challenges that they need to know.

The webinar will be conducted in English. It is open, free of charge, to all small and medium-sized enterprises from EU Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme.

About the speaker
Sara Berloto

Sara Berloto is Head of Research Department at the Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF). She holds a PhD in Political Studies – International Relations at the University of Milan. Her research develops in the field of China’s domestic and foreign policy, as well as China’s modes of political influence. Sara conducted research at NTU in Taipei and at Renmin University in Beijing. She was previously Research Fellow at the SDA Bocconi School of Management and Teaching Assistant at Bocconi University.
