With the aim to better understand the specificities of the Chinese market and the possibilities of entering it, the EU SME Centre, Eurochambres and SPIRIT Slovenia, are organising a ‘Capacity Building Webinar Series’ aiming at increasing the awareness and understanding of doing business in China for European SMEs.
During the 5 webinar sessions, various China experts from different areas of expertise will present the cultural peculiarities, the market entry strategies, the challenges related to logistics and the distribution channels and the importance of digital marketing in China.

Rosanna Terminio, Managing Partner, AsecorpChina Business Consulting Co. Ltd Graduated in Economics and Master in Asian Studies, Rosanna Terminio is a consultant, contributor and lecturer specializing in innovation and strategy for the organization, as well as human resources strategist. Together with two Chinese partners, she is Managing Partner of AsecorpChina Business Consulting since 2011, a consulting firm providing strategy consulting and operative solution for European companies operating with and in China.
Alessio Petino, Knowledge Coordinator, EU SME Centre
Alessio has worked for 5 years on various EU-funded projects in China, including as junior key expert, mainly conducting policy and market analysis for European companies looking to enter or already in the Chinese market. His key areas of expertise are China’s sci-tech, research and innovation policy, high-tech zones, EU-China co-funding mechanisms, as well as government incentives, grants and subsidies for innovation.
Alessio has formulated many studies, especially for DG RTD, including guides and market entry handbooks for SMEs. He has also written several bids for FPI- or DEVCO-funded projects (strategy and logframe), attended EU-China S&T dialogues, and has organised numerous business missions including under the EU Gateway to China project and Enjoy! It’s from Europe project (in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, and S. Korea).
