The 12th Annual Meeting of the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises (INSME 2016) will be held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, represented by HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani.
The International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises – INSME is a legally recognized and not-for-profit Association established since 2004 in Rome, Italy with the aim to strengthen international cooperation, exchange of know-how, best practice approaches and expertise in innovation and technology transfer among economic players and intermediaries worldwide. The Network comprises at present 84 Members in 37 countries in 4 continents including governmental bodies, international organizations, business support intermediaries and their associations/networks at sub-national, national, regional and international level.
INSME has been offering its assistance in successful transnational cooperation for 12 years now and is celebrating this continuous growth with its various stakeholders from all over the globe. The get-together on the hot topic “Enabling Smart SMEs as Key to Success” represents a perfect platform to increase knowledge sharing among Innovation Leaders, discuss findings from others’ experiences and identify the right talents, partners, clients, sponsors and investors for future business activities and favourable public Governance.
Innovation stakeholders and practitioners will also experience Qatar’s vibrant environment and its breath-taking business potential during the Innovation Tour, showcasing hubs for innovation and inclusive development up to 2030 as fostered within the Qatar National Vision Document. The already well-established International Expert Training session additionally facilitates the creation of further synergies and combines the ambitious work on knowledge sharing for the benefit of SMEs with the opportunity to enjoy a truly multi-cultural atmosphere based on trust and friendship among our 90+ member community from all over the world.
