

The EU SME Centre is proud to announce the release of its annual SME Policy Environment Report. The report sets out to provide an overview of the most significant developments affecting SMEs operating in China, with a special focus on the impact on European SMEs. The structure of the report consists of three parts: an introduction to SMEs in China, an analysis of the current SME policy environment in China in key areas and a conclusion.
The document looks at key policy areas affecting the development of SMEs in China such as access to financing, reduction of the administrative and financial burden, innovation and entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection and SME internationalisation, among others.The report highlights the positive developments in terms of SME policy formulation and implementation and also looks at the challenges ahead and areas where there is room for improvement, especially from the perspective of European small businesses.
