Visibility opportunity for European SMEs in the energy sector

By EU SME Centre | Press Article 22.03.2021 Tags:

Following the EU SME Centre’s participation to the China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation (October 2020), and our recent meeting earlier this month, we are delighted to announce that we are partnering up with the China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute (EPPEI) and the China-Europe Energy Innovation Cooperation Office.

Specifically, we will contribute to the development of a periodic post on the official Wechat account  "中欧能源技术合作“ (China-Europe Energy Innovation Cooperation), run by EPPEI. The post will introduce in detail one European SME involved in the energy sector, and interested in entering China and/or cooperating with Chinese partners. Specifically, the post will be divided into five main areas:

  • General overview of the SME
  • Value proposition
  • Example of one flagship product/project
  • Intended way of cooperation with China
  • Contact information

The post will be in Chinese, and will be directed to the subscribers of the official Wechat account – which include Chinese actors involved in cooperation with European actors in the energy field. The purpose is to increase the visibility of European SMEs in the sector, particularly innovative ones, and to facilitate potential new business partnerships. It is expected that potential Chinese partners may approach the European SME directly.

If you are interested in being featured in the post, please download and fill the form attached (if possible already in Chinese), and return it to: info@eusmecentre.org.cn (specifying in subject “Visibility post for SMEs in energy sector”).

The EU SME Centre will review the forms received, and submit them to our partners at EPPEI for publication.

It is recommended to keep the content concise and to the point; excessively long content will be adjusted and perhaps eliminated. We recommend to highlight content which is particularly innovative and that may attract the interest of Chinese actors.
