The Team

Aonan He is the Training Coordinator of the EU SME Centre in China. She works closely with partners of the Centre to organise and coordinate seminars and workshops. She holds a Master’s Degree in Global Studies with a focus on International Relations from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and a BA in Political Science and English from the University of Alberta in Canada. She also had experiences in community-based research in Political Science and Sociology at the Universidad de Oriente in Cuba.

Prior to joining the EU SME Centre, Aonan worked as a Program Assistant for the University of Alberta International in Edmonton, Canada, and did her internship in Trust and Safety at ByteDance in Beijing. Her transnational living and working experiences have equipped her with concrete team-management skills and communication capabilities via Chinese, English, French and Spanish.
