Centre Expert Shares Insights into China’s Imported Food & Beverage Market at the EU SME Breakfast Seminar

28 April 2017, Beijing – EU SME Centre Business Development Advisor Rafael Jimenez shared his insights into China’s imported F&B market at the EU SME Breakfast Seminar , co-organised by the EU SME Centre and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce. 
 
“Food & beverage, as the only sector where the EU has a trade surplus with China, received a warm welcome in Chinese market as China’s agricultural output experienced different degrees of decrease in 2016”, said Rafael during his presentation.
 
He also emphasised the important role of cross-border E-commerce (CBEC) in selling imported F&B products to China, along with a brief introduction to several CBEC platforms that might come in handy for importers.
 
Oscar Salet, Director at Kiremko & Tolsma Grisnich China gave the second presentation, sharing his view on doing business with China’s potato industry, covering related agricultural background, processing and case studies.
