EU SME Centre and CBBC are pleased to invite our members to attend a half-day training workshop on Cosmetics Market Access Requirements in China.
 
China is the second largest consumer market for cosmetics industry in the world. International brands have remained in the dominate market position in the country. Whitening products, innovative ingredients and the increasing utilization of e-commerce platforms in China are some of the key drivers in the market.
 
The workshop will give an overview of China market and its key trends, highlighting the opportunities and challenges for EU SMEs to better comprehend what the most suitable for them are. Classifications of cosmetics will be elaborated for the specific requirements of licenses for diverse types of products. Moreover, a specific session regarding Chinese policies and regulations of the cosmetics market, including pre-market approval and registration process will be addressed.

Ingrid Ge, EU SME Centre Standards and Conformity Expert
 
Ingrid has 15 years 'consulting experience in international trade rules and China’s import and export policy.
Ingrid served in the World Trade Management Services team in PwC and China-Britain Business Council, EU SME Center, and has provided trade compliance advice and tax arrangement to a number of world leading MNCs and provided professional China market access advice to European enterprises.
Ingrid received master’s degrees in international economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the University of British Columbia in Canada.
 
Caroline Bridges, Marketing Manager, China Skinny
Caroline Bridges is a fluent Chinese speaker, reader and writer having studied the language, culture and business landscape since her undergraduate studies in the US and China.
