About DragonStar Plus
DragonStar Plus is focusing on China, and aims both on providing services to European and Chinese researchers, and on offering a flexible platform to support policy discussions between the European and Chinese stakeholders. Moreover, DRAGON-STARPLUS will provide the EC and Member States, with the tools for setting a long-term cooperation strategy with China, in research and innovation and assist in the development of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).

Professor Jizhen Li, Associate Professor, the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University
Jizhen Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He is also Research Fellow and Vice Director at the Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University. His research interests include management of technological innovation, science and technology policy, project management and SMEs innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Management Science, a MA in Management Science, and a BE in Automobile Engineering and Industrial Engineering from the Tsinghua University.
Professor Richard de Grijs, Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Peking University
Richard de Grijs obtained his PhD from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) in 1997, and held two postdoctoral positions (at the University of Virginia, USA, and the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge, UK), before being appointed to a permanent post at the University of Sheffield (UK) in 2003. He joined the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Peking University in September 2009 as a full professor. He has been one of the scientific editors of The Astrophysical Journal since 2006 and took on the role of deputy Editor of The Astrophysical Journal Letters in September 2012. He is the joint director of the East Asian Regional Office of Astronomy for Development, as well as the international coordinator for China of the Institute of Physics (UK). He was awarded the 2012 Selby Award for excellence in science by the Australian Academy of Science, as well as a 2013 Visiting Academy Professorship at Leiden University by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Mr. Carlos Quintana, Delegate in China, CDTI (Spanish Innovation Agency)
Carlos Quintana is a Telecommunications Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialized in Electronic Equipment. During his entire professional career he has worked in the R&D and Technology Sector. First as Space Engineer working as a Project Engineer in a Public R&D Organization, then as a Technical Project Director at a private company, and finally at a Public R&D Funding Organization. During his whole career he has also worked at international level, as Project Engineer as part of High Technology European projects; after that as member of the Spanish delegation at the European Space Agency; and also as CDTI Delegate at India first, and nowadays at China.
